SUMMARY:Misty Pines Therapy Dog and CGC Prep Class
DESCRIPTION:This class will prepare you and your dog for therapy or service work. We will help you and your dog work through a number of exercises that you will encounter in life and in medical settings. Practice makes perfect! \nThis class will also prepare you for the Canine Good Citizen Test. \nCanine Good Citizen Test (CGC) \nThe Canine Good Citizen Test is a titling through the American Kennel Club (AKC) that is designed to recognize dogs that have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. \nThe CGC also lays the foundation for the Public Access Test for the Misty Pines Certified Service Dogs.
